I discovered my love for acting and the English language when I was a child. At the age of 14 I changed to a bilingual school in Vienna and in 2010 I moved to New York City for two years to study Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Meanwhile I was already involved in OFF-Broadway and short film productions. In 2012 my path led me back to Austria. My training for the state acting diploma took place parallel to my engagement at Theater in der Josefstadt and resulted in further productions at Burgkasino Vienna, Off-Theater and Theater Center Forum. Since 2014 I have been working regularly in front of the camera in short films and TV formats (ORF, ZDF, Sat1). I made my debut in the feature film “Letting Go” which I also co-produced. Among others our film was screened at the Le Marché du Film at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. In the same year I was represented at Diagonale with the anthology film “Don Who”. The music video “King Of Norway” by TENTA, in which I play the blind lead, won “Best Music Video” at the Syracuse International Film Festival 2019. As “Kati” I have been part of the LIWEST campaign “Kati Next” since 2021. With the recording of audio books, such as the classic “Bambi” by Felix Salten, I found another new and meaningful task in my area of activity.
